Jennifer Munson, (cq), Certified Veterinary Technician, shows the last of the Nebraska dogs he has nothing to be scared of as Dr. Leslie Groshong, (cq), performs surgery on another of the Nebraska dogs. The Humane Society and Veterinary Clinic of Boulder Valley on Tuesday May 29, 2007 in Boulder, Colo. at 2323 55th St. evaluated over 50 Nebraska Transfer Dogs rescued from a puppy mill in Nebraska on Friday May 25, 2007. By 1pm today Dr. Leslie Groshong, (cq) and her staff had prepared and performed 29 spaying or neutering surgeries and some immediate need dental work and even verification with two board certified surgeons as to knees in need of possible surgical procedures in the future. A majority of the dogs are Yorkshire Terrier Mix or Pomeranian Mix older dogs ranging in age from 2-10. They begin adoption availability today (303-442-4030) or (boulderhumane.org).
