Denver Police Narcotics Detectives arrested a man in connection with a methamphetamine lab discovered in West Denver Wednesday evening. On May 9, 2007, members of the departments Narcotics Clandestine Lab Team obtained a search warrant for 103 South Zenobia Street. Detectives were searching for a wanted individual identified as Joseph Royer (11-17-60). Detectives received information that Royer was manufacturing methamphetamine at the Zenobia Street address. Upon locating Royer inside the residence, items consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine were discovered. Royer was taken into custody at the scene and is being held for investigation of Manufacturing a Controlled Substance and Possession of Chemicals and Equipment to Manufacture a Controlled Substance. The residence has been secured by Denver Environmental Health to prevent access pending tests to determine contamination levels.
