Carrie and Andy Blood happy after the verdict in their favor in their lawyers office. Andy Blood held a press conference in the offices of Fogel Keating Wagner Poldori Shafner at 1290 Broadway in Denver, Colo. on Thursday May 24, 2007. He worked for Xcel Energy and was climbing a Qwest utility pole when it broke and he fell upon a railroad track and he became paralyzed. Today he won a $39 million judgement against Qwest. The issue was the required need for the company to maintain the poles and they have, at present, no plan to service this need. (information from the lawyers and the press release). (STEVEN R.
