Friday, May 12, 2007. Almost immediately Rodriguez and the three other individuals in the vehicle proudly admitted to their involvement with the Sureño gang. As he was pulled out of the car Rodriguez, twisted his fingers into shapes that spell out SUR. This is what is known as a gang sign. Pfeiler and the other gang cops recognized Rodriguez right away. He is one of the 500 gang members in Greeley that are tracked by the gang unit. The 14-year-old was found with a bag of marijuana. He said he was just recently jumped into the gang. Sgt.
