91 year-old Joe Hanket (cq) poses for a portrait before a decision is made at the Radiation Board meeting. He worked at Rocky Flats for 17 years as a pipe fitter and a welder, and now suffers from bronqueal asthma, asbestosis, berylliosis, and has found plutonium in his bone marrow. At the end of the day, the board decided against the possibility to grandfather the former Rocky Flats employees into an aid program for those affected with cancer on April 3rd, 2007.
