(DLM8349) - (DLM8369) - Sheep rancher Ernie Etchart, 43, walks past a dead coyote that he found on the side of the four-wheel-drive road leading out of an area of federal land where he has a flock of 1500 sheep grazing west of Montrose, Colo., Monday, Feb. 26, 2007. Etchart did not kill the animal. Upon examining the coyote Etchart estimated it was a two-year-old female. From the tire tracks and pile of beer bottles found next to the animal, Etchart said it looked like someone had killed the animal elsewhere and had dumped it there. "I hate how so many people see BLM land as a dumping ground," said Etchart as he picked up the beer bottles and other trash and walked back to his truck. (DARIN MCGREGOR/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) **Ernie Etchart (cq) ****I want to make sure it is clear that he did not kill this animal. ***********
