DSC01359 Two snowcats drivers perform "skip passes" while grooming the upper section of the Northwoods trail at Vail. That technique, which has snowcats pass about 10 to 12 feet apart and then return to cover the gap, allows for clean corduroy patterns without excess trails of snow debris.
