Cornelius A. Duncan Jr., (cq), an employee, took time out to take the stage in the new cafe playing his Thumb Piano, (in his left hand), and moving the instrument around the microphone to enhance the sound coming from it. He is a percussionist. He also said he plays only for himself and thought if he were to play nobody would come....Typical artist. The Boulder Co-Op, 1904 Pearl St., Boulder, Colo., Thursday February 22, 2007, still exists in the shadow of the announced purchase of Wild Oats by Whole Foods. The store is reconfiguring its presentation and has added a small cafe with a stage for evening performances and a vegetarian hot bar as well as fresh mixed drinks. (information from Shawn Butler, Wellness Manager). (STEVEN R NICKERSON/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS)Shawn Butler, Mark Sazatino, Cornelius A. Duncan Jr. ,(cq)
