MJM033 Waiting for the performance of "Where the Wild Things Are", Claire Roseland (cq) sits on the wings backstage Friday evening at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House next to the head of one the large costumes used in the production. The adaptation of "Where the Wild Thiings Are" is based on Maurice Sendak's 1963 childrens book. Sendak along with Washington Ballet's Artistic director, Septime Webre worked on the ballet version. The ballet runs Wednesday, Friday, and concludes with two performances Saturday.
