A power shovel dumps snow into a snow melting machine that hits the snow with 105 degree water which takes some time to melt it down in the Coors Field Parking lot Denver, Colo. on Wednesday February 14, 2007. Jason Cassel (cq) 11 year veteran power shovel operator for the city puts some dents in the snow piles. Mountains of ice/snow/dirt are piled in the parking lot of Coors Field. Standing at about 12 -15 feet high the city doesn't expect it to melt before games start in April so a snow melting machine is being used to expedite the melting. The rental of the machine is costly adding to the expenses of the trifecta of blizzards and multi smaller storms. (LINDA McCONNELL/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) ** Jason Cassel
