Expert skiers and riders can experience new thrills and hidden powder stashes with 180 acres of new terrain set to open during the 2006-2007 winter season. Short, steep gladed runs in Upper Stone Creek Chutes and Lower Stone Creek Chutes will offer in-bounds excitement for expert skiers and riders. Explore chutes ranging from 400-600 vertical feet in length with pitches up to 45 degrees. Stone Creek Chutes is located to the East of Rose Bowl and offers spectacular views of the Gore Mountain Range. The area can be reached from the existing Cinch Express Lift (#8). The new terrain brings the resort's total skiable acreage to 1,805. Photo: Ric Stovall/ Beaver Creek Resort
