Kampong Thom, Cambodia. November 12, 2003. Brothel owner Polly Chan, 38, discusses the price of three prostitutes who she says owe her more money than her husband had previously said, as Pastor Sinoeun Chea begins to write up a contract for both of them to sign as proof that Sinoeun and Polly have agreed on a price and paid for the women. Minutes later, Polly doubled the price and the transaction fell through. At right is a woman who says she is with Cambodian Women for Peace and Development, there to ensure that Kampuchea for Christ is a legitimate organization.
