After throwing away all of it's fresh spinach, which was part of a mixed green combination for salads, Bambino's has begun to make alternative salads using only romaine lettuce to protect it's patrons from the potential exposure from the e. coli bacteria. Bambino's has discontinued cooked spinach dishes on the menu until the FDA gives their approval. " I think people are concerned and are unclear as to what the threat is," says Jay Timp, CQ.
