(DLM1246) - Five-year-old Alexander Castillo waits for his uncle, Daniel Delgado, 24, back left, as he fills out paperwork for a statewide homeless count at the Mesa Motel in Lakewood, Colo. Monday, Jan. 29, 2007. Alexander lives in a single room at the motel with his parents Matthew Todd and Vicky Arriaga-Todd, his uncle, and his five brothers and sisters. The family has been living at the motel for the past seven months. Vicky, the mother, said she is looking for work, but it is hard to find work when you are a felon. Linda Barringer of the Family Tree, in conjunction with Colorado Interagency Council on Homelessness, was at the motel conducting the surveys with homeless families as part of a two-part statewide count to determine what homelessness looks like in Colorado.(DARIN MCGREGOR/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) **Alexander Castillo (cq/uncle) **Daniel Delgado (cq) **Vicky Arriaga-Todd (cq) **Matthew Todd (Vicky/wife) **Linda Barringer (assignment/press release)
