(DLM0578) - A neighborhood kid, left, and South Adams County Fire District investigator Kevin Phillips, right, watch as Tia Brown lies a stuffed animal down in front of the charred remains of the house that was destroyed in a fire Thursday morning that took the life of a 2-year-old boy at 7820 Larkwood Street in Commerce City, Colo. Friday, Jan. 26, 2007. Cindy Trujillo was at home with her four children, all under the age of five, when the fire started at about 6:00 a.m. She scrambled to get all the children out as the fire spread quickly through the house, but when they got outside the two-year-old was missing. Trujillo tried repeatedly to go back in and save the boy and was forced back by the fire. Several friends and neighbors left flowers and stuffed animals at a makeshift memorial in front of the house Friday.
