(DENVER, Colo., August 5 2004) James Castro gets to observe a flower up close as Magda Ward and Paul Hakala drive by sharing the happy enjoyment. The Sensory Garden of Denver Botanic Gardens located in the courtyard of the Morrison Center officially reopened after rennovations. Visitors of the Wheatridge Regional Center toured the gardens. The facility services the needs of people with a wide range of developmental disabilities. For the past several years the American Horticultural Therapy Association has been working on rennovations with a goal to make this a relaxing and theraputic example of garden accessibilty.
