Tara Hettinger inspects Ethanol samples at the Sterling Ethanol LLC facility located at 450 Angus Ave., in Sterling, CO Sept. 26, 2006. Most of the corn brought to the facility comes from near by Yuma county that produces the second largest amount of corn in the United States resulting in Colorado's Eastern Plains farmers finding that they can make more money switching their crops from animal feed to production of Ethanol. A group of farmers in Sterling formed a co-op and have a $60 million plant up and running and a second one in Yuma County under construction. (EVAN SEMON/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) **Tara Hettinger (CQ)
