Ira Johnson (cq) looks for a job on a computer Thursday afternoon October 12, 2006 at the Denver Urban Ministries, located at 1717 E. Colfax Ave. in Denver. Johnson just went through the process of getting a new valid ID, which according to him took a lot of work and money. Referendum K could affect many low-income workers and job seekers because it would require them to provide valid IDs or documents that many poor people don't have or they have to go through the expense and hassle to get.
