9/11 story. The New York Fire Department NYFD Engine 10/Ladder 10 headquarters at 124 Liberty Street, across from the site of the ground zero in Manhattan, New York on Sept 7, 2006, where the World Trade Center once stood. They often leave the doors open, so tourists can look in. Most of the fire fighters have only been working there for a few years, starting after 9/11/2001. Someone asks if they have t-shirts for sale, so firefighter Jeff Brady (cq), right, brings one out to show them. He's been there for 3 years. At left is firefighter Nick Castellano (Cq), who's been there for 2 years. (ELLEN JASKOL/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) **Jeff Brady (cq), Nick Castellano (Cq)
