On April 5, 2006, Fofi Mendez (cq) (l), lobbyist for Planned Parenthood, asks co-worker Kate Horle (cq), Vice-President of Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood, when her baby girl is due before a press conference in the third floor press room of the State Capitol Building to urge Gov. Bill Owens to sign HB 1212 into law. The passage of this bill would make it legal for pharmacists in Colorado to dispense emergency contraception. Participants have over 5000 hot pink postcards signed by supporters asking the Governor to sign HB 1212 into law. They took the postcards to the Governor's office directly after the press conference.
