Laurel Thomson (cq), 16, of Parker has some fun and makes faces at another participant as she waits for her next flight while in a skydiving simulator at Skyventure Colorado on Monday March 13, 2006. Thomson said it was her first time in a wind tunnel and added that she really enjoyed it. The Lone Tree, Co. company uses four 300 horsepower fans and state-of -the art technology to replicate a freefall skydiving experience inside a wind tunnel. The newer technology employed at the site makes it easier and safer for first timers to learn to control their movements while suspended in midair. An "Intro to Flight" experience is $48 during peak hours and $44 during off-peak hours which includes a class and two one minute flights. (MARC PISCOTTY/ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS) CQ Laurel Thomson
