John Henley, a wood carver from Canyon City, CO, helps Team Germany carve away at a 20 ton block of snow that the team is planning to turn into an art piece called "Coming Home" at the Budweiser Select International Snow Sculpture Championships held for the 16th time in Breckenridge Tuesday January 24, 2006. 13 teams from nine countries will start with 12 foot-tall, 20 ton blocks of machine made snow and will continue to perfect their snow art until Saturday the 29th. The event is open to the public and is expected to draw 30,000 people. It is located in the heart of Breckenridge at the RIverwalk Center between Main Street and Park Avenue.
