Dozens of visitors toured the memorial Monday Sept. 11, 2006, the day after in was unveiled to the public and five years since the attacks occured. The memorial consists of three monoliths, each 1,600 pounds and 8 feet tall, each dedicated to a different location where the attacks occured and three life-size bronze sculptures weighing between 1,000 and 2,300 pounds.
