(Federal Heights, Colo., June 22, 2004) Bernard Murray, writer and director of "The Surfer King" and vice president and creative director of Movin' Pictures Studios talks about the movie during a press conference at the park Tuesday, June 22, 2004, that will be filmed at Hyland Hills Water World this summer. The romantic teen comedy is about a 15-year-old surfer who moves to Colorado from Oceanside, California and gets a summer job at the park. "Wally", the park's mascot, relaxes on a lounge chair. The production will cost $499,000. Hundreds of roles for extras will be cast locally through auditions at Water World on June 23, June 24, June 30 and July 1.
