(DENVER, Colo., July 6, 2004) University of Colorado senior Charlie Shoop, 22, of Greeley plays the part of "Mark Riley", a wheelchair bound cerebal paulsy puppet. The puppets are meant to educate children about ther children with disabilities. The Journey of Hope cross-country bicycle tour stopped on the steps of the Colorado State Capitol Tuesday to raise awareness and support for children with disabilities. The 70 members of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity on this year's tour are riding from San Francisco, Ca. to Washington, D.C. raising some $400,000 as well as presenting a puppet show to teach children about others with disabilities.
