(DENVER, CO., June 21, 2004) John Henderson,83, is a retired architect. He walks through through the inside hallway during a rainstorm looking from the outside back at the home. This is the front yard area. He says he often pulls up a chair at the end of the walk looking back at his home to enjoy the outdoor and indoor feel at the same time. He is from Kansas and was able to achieve his dream of becoming an architect after World War II. He attributes much of his success to his mother and wife. He worked for one of Denver's largest firms his entire career. He talked about the progress and innovation of great American design since the country delcared its independance. (Photo By STEVEN R.
