A side view of the Baldpate Inn in Estes Park, Colorado, shows a 1920s automobile parked in the entryway of the rustic lodge. The inn's sign, a ring of keys, hangs on the front; the inn was named after a popular mystery novel, "The Seven Keys to BaldPate" by Lord Earl Derr Biggers. Signs with the hotel's name hang over the entryway and from a log support on the nearby hill, where evergreens and brush grow. Craggy mountains are behind, and a large parking area is in front.
