Composite interior and exterior views of four images of Gold Coin Club, 413 West Diamond, Victor, Colorado. The club house (rebuilt after August 1899 fire & formally opened March 5, 1900) was built by Wood Investment Company for Gold Coin mine employees; it was eventually sold by Wood brothers after 1904 to Dr. C. E. Elliot who converted it into a Red Cross hospital which operated for over a decade. Top left image: exterior view of two-story rectangular social club building consisting of brick with stone & wooden trim in Colonial Revival style, truncated hipped roof, projecting cornice with exposed rafters, classical pediment across front, decorative frieze around entire building, windows on ground floor with single sash & leaded glass transoms, double-entry doors with segmental arched top & side panels, second-floor with front portico & Ionic columns extending over both floors. Top right image: interior view from second story with open balcony & railing with view to first floor, tables & chairs extending around walkway of second story. Bottom left image: interior view with two billiard tables, two men shooting billiards, ceiling fans. Bottom right image: interior view of two tables & chairs, tables set with books, potted palms, brick fireplace, rear view of staircase extending into ceiling, three ceiling lamps, man standing next to double-entry door.
