Palm trees, shrubs, and a Monkey Puzzle tree fill the yard of McLaren Lodge in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California. The structure is a Moorish-Gothic style building designed as both home and office for the Golden Gate Park Superintendent. The first superintendent of the Park, John McLaren lived here until his death.
