A pickup truck marked "Apex Neon and & Sign Co." serves as the float for the Fire Department in Edgewater, Jefferson County, Colorado, as part of the parade celebrating the town's fiftieth anniversary in 1951. Four charter members, firemen since 1915, stand behind their chairs on the back of the truck and are laughing; a long pole with a sign reading "Original Fire Alarm" suspends a large bell in front of the truck. A sign on the side reads, "Edgewater Firemen & Hose Cart, 1915 to ? Still Active" and the hose cart is attached to the back of the truck. Other cars in the parade follow.
