Four men pose in front of the two double door entry doors of the Hyman's Club at 316 Harrison Street in Leadville, Colorado. The wood frame false front building has large pane windows. Three of the men wear suits, vests and hats and the saloonkeeper has a cardigan sweater and a long white apron. They all stand on a raised plank boardwalk with a dog. "316 Hyman's 316" is painted on a wood section above the striped window awning, which is lit by a suspendend globe lamp. The cornice has dentil ornamentation. A large circular advertising sign is mounted on a tall post with a chimney, suggesting it is gas lit. A hitching post topped with a small decorative horse head and a small pile of melting snow are in the foreground.
