Summary
Outdoor portrait (standing) of a Native American (Tewa) man near the ruins of ancient cliff dwellings (Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museum), near Manitou Springs, El Paso County, Colorado. Chief Juan Cruz wears beaded moccasins, leggins, vest, long dark breech cloth, long light shirt with arm bands, hair pipe and metal bead breast plate, beaded brooch, scarves covering braided hair, and a bead and feather headress. He holds a wooden ceremonial spear decorated with feathers.
