Notes
Photographer's information printed on front edges of stereo card.; Photoprints are soiled and torn bottom edge.; Title printed on label on back of stereo card with"No. 67. Estes Park Series. Estes' Park is located north of Long's Peak. It is an open region about ten miles from north to south, and half that distance from east to west. The grass is mostly short and nutritiious like that of the plains, funishing pasturage for four thousand head of horned cattle. Through its western margin the Big Thomgson [sic] flows northward, finally turning eastward through its centre. At its southern end is Lake St. Mary, about a half mile in diameter, having no out-let save such as it finds through the soil. There are few finer fields for the tourist. At St. Mary's lake its elevation is 7,900 feet, and at Evans & Edward's ranch, its lowest point, 7,200."; R7100176462
