Marble (Gunnison County) Colorado, consists of frame dwellings and commercial buildings, including the fire tower, finished in May 1912. The Thode Lumber Company is housed in the white building (with three little windows) across the street. The white, gable-roofed building is the Masonic Temple. Slate Cliff and Gallo Hill are to the left, and Carbonate Creek valley leads to the Elk Mountains in the background.
