View of the New Sheridan Hotel located at 231-235 West Colorado Avenue, Telluride, Colo. Built by Gus Brickson and Max Hipplen in 1895 after the original hotel was destroyed by fire. It originally was a two-story brick building until a third floor was later added. The facade is enhanced by ornate primary and secondary metal cornices and six arched windows on both the second and third floors. The front entrance has large display windows flanked by cast iron columns. The structure is listed on the National Register.
