About the Building Plans and Drawings
The Digital Collections include selected plans from the Library’s collections of drawings and project files of significant regional architects including Fisher and Fisher, Lang and Pugh, Gove and Walsh, Arthur S. Axtens, Edwin A. Francis, Victor Hornbein and Edward D. White, Jr.
While these collections contain thousands of original building plans (hundreds of which have been digitized), most Denver buildings were not designed directly by an architect. Often the contractor would use plans from an architect or plan book. These plans will be difficult if not impossible to find today.
