Full Text	DENVER URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY 910 - 16th Street Denver, Colorado 80202 tel. 623-7114 SPECIAL BENEFITS WHICH ARE AVAILABLE TO FAMILIES, AND BUSINESSES RELOCATED FROM URBAN RENEWAL AREAS September 26, 1969 Federal Laws provide for special assistance benefits for families, individuals and businesses relocated from Urban Renewal Areas. The following is a summary of these benefits. FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS Owner-Occupants Who Purchase Another Dwelling A. Actual moving expenses up to $200 B. Replacement Housing Payment up to $5,000 (1) This housing cost is basically determined on the amount that the owner-occupant receives for his unit in the Auraria Site and what the cost of a moderate home would be according to the needs of the family. (2) Schedule for needs is as follows: (3) 1 bedroom $11,000 2 15,000 3 18,000 4 24,000 5 35,000 Example: a. Family consist of husband, wife and one child over 6 years of age
