Item #1  John Powell made a motion, seconded by Bob Bowlby which
would provide for the offering of an honorary membership
in CHUN to Mrs. John Love* The motion was made to amend
so as to include John Love as well. The amendment failed
to pass, and the original motion mas passed unanimously.
Item #2 Ed Sibert informedHthe board that Peg Hart and he had
discussed with Dana Crawford the utilization of a
prospectus for CHUN as a fund raising device. Mrs.
Crawford volunteered to underwrite the costs of
printing and mailing the prospectus to all residents
west of York Street in the Capitol Hill area.
Item #3 John Powell informed the board of the request of AUPAR
for CHUN's endorsement of their voter registration drive
between December 12 and January 28, and specifically
for their rally on December 17 at the City and County
Building. John further informed the board that no
manpower was requested from CHUN. John made a motion,
seconded by Bob Bowlby for CHUN's endorsement of AUPAR
in its drive to register new voters and for its rally
on December 17. The motion carried of three in favor,
and one opposed.
Item #4 Bob Bowlby informed the board of Cathy Donohuefs request
that CHUN endorse a letter to bhspresented to the Denver
Planning Board on behalf of the Interneighborhood Group
on Planning and Public Policy in opposition to the
