President Mike Henry called the meeting to order.
The following absentees were recorded on rell calli
Ethel Lunde(excused), Michael Gilbert (excused), Dale
and Peggy Hart (excused), Jeanne Busacca and Marshall
Snider.
Ethel Lunde was elected corresponding secretary.
Rhonda Knop was appointed Registered Agent and 1260
Corona was designated as the Registered Office.
The nei&bars approved a resolution designating
the President, the Treasurer and the first Vice-President
authorized signers of cheeks up te $100. Should the
amount exooed $100, two of the three authorized signatures
will bo required.
The minutes were read and approved.
Maggie Spurllng of tho Denver Planning Office
gave a brief report of the activities? of her office
that were relevant to CHUN: Pursuant to Maggie's
request, tho board approved a general resolution supporting
the concept of the proposed LEAA supported street
lighting program. Copies of the resolution were to
be sent to the city council, the mayor and the manager
of safety when appropriate. The board also agreed
to sponsor the program provided sponsorship entailed
nominal basking only.
Maggio also announced that various members of
CHUN are working with her on neighborhood plans for
Capital Hill and Cheesman Park, whiete should be
completed by August or September.
Maggie further reported that the Planning Board
is working on a redefinition of open space and parking
as a use by right as requested by CHUN.
The treasurer reported a current balance of |365*95»
The President reported that the Vice-Presidents
had decided the first Vice-President would be responsible
for programs, the second for membership and fund raisins
and the third for public relations.
Carolyn Reznik reported that the legislature had
chosen a supreme court site that was acceptable to
her committee. She was congratulated for a fine effort.
A general discussion of strategy for the next two
or three months followed.  It was decided thai all
efforts should be made to increase membership. Aiaeng
the suggestions were a party at Molly Brown House and
a Capital Hill booklet.
